Y'know, I don't think the Islero gets enough love. Just an observation - it be sexy.

Oh yes. Its appearance in The Man Who Haunted Himself was really damn sexy.

Agreed. I'm in love with the Miura and all of its classic goodness, but the Islero is just as beautiful too. :)

Question: why are the ö's in your username capitalized? I'm so curious.

You should know that: it's a reference to how "wÖrk" is spelled in Polandball comics with Germany.

The Islero brought into fruition some of the styling touches that the 350GT failed to deliver on from the 350GTV's promise. It's a cohesive, clean, Aston-like design that has a very timeless look to it. It would fit in if manufactured at any time up into the late 90s, which for a late 60s design is a neat trick.

I know it is. I just want to know why the o is capitalized.

The Islero ties with the Diablo for my all-time favorite Lambo. They're two very different cars, but there's so much to love about each. I do consider the Islero to be the most beautiful Lamborghini of all time.

The Islero and the Espada are my favourite Lamborghinis. Awesome cars, simple as that.
This is my favourite Islero, that green paintjob.. oooohh myyy.
If I could have that one as a weekend car and this Espada as a DD I'd be in heaven,

In some of them the O *is* oversize, and it looks funnier that way regardless.

Oh..ok.

The Espada is very practical, what with the extra space. It's just a bit.. misshapen for a Lamborghini.

To each his own I guess, I actually like how it looks :) It's a tad quirky for sure, but I think it's a good looking car.

To me, it's a little bit of an uneven mix between the classic Bertone designs and the futurism school they were starting to play with - it looks good, but it's very much a transitional form, and transitional toward something that didn't age that well.

I guess you're right. Would still buy one if I could :)

Oh certainly. An ugly duckling *for a Lamborghini* is still prettier than many a Chevrolet or most.

Certainly agree. It's a stunning car.
